  1. I think there's a nicer way than what @Caseynotes suggested. If you use multiple screens, you can "tear-off" charts or even put a workspace in a separate browser tab. Then you can just drag whatever you want to a 2nd screen. Does that make sense?
  2. @PK128 / @Caseynotes, I don't think you even need to resort to the Layouts menu. Every time you change something on the chart, it gets save automatically. If you open a new one, it seems to take in the settings from the previous one (last changed)
  3. @SkyTrader, it is quite bad that things do not work on Safari and you should definitely make yourself heard. But I think you shot yourself on the foot with the below: Chrome is the most used browser in the world so if you optimize for one...it makes sense to be Chrome. Obviously Apple has fans/haters, but there's an argument for people who think Apple nowadays releases overpriced devices with below par/underwhelming specs. Yes, Chrome has become a memory hog, but not because Apple said it, probably because their market share allows them to make a non-optimal product Also, for others to be able to help, are you talking about the new platform or the classic platform?
  4. Hey @GTS15, Are the charts on the same price type (i.e. Bid/Mid/Ask) as the alert? That could be one difference. Can you maybe share a screenshot?
  5. @Djelibaybi is this for CFD / Spreadbet? The new platform is not based on Flash in case you're still using the old one...
  6. So many questions about charts not loading and it is usually the same issue. Can we get a sticky topic? Also, out of curiosity, why would people stick with old platform + Flash-based charts instead of using the newer one?
  7. Yes, it works well for me. You can define position visibility in charts but not in the panels I think. Kind of a stupid question, but it *is* the same account on both devices, right?
  8. Hi @who, Just to be clear, where are they not visible? In the positions panel/screen or in the charts?
  9. @NH2017 / @VinY / @FFS_Daytrader / @FiXXXeR, Just noticed Heikin-Ashi is now on the web platform!
  10. Hey @jinksy7, Is it the new HTML Charts or the old Flash-based Charts? Regardless, it should be as easy as change one of the default moving averages's period to 200. There's a label-like component that opens up a dialog and allows you to do that!
  11. @OptionsTrader, Just checked it now and it seems to be fine!
  12. Serious question: what are the main advantages of PRT charts over IG charts if there are some?
  13. Hi @Bradipo, Just loaded charts on my Android. 2 questions: 1. Which Android are you using? 2. Does it not load for all markets?
  14. Hey @Bradipo, what charts are we talking about? The ones from the new platform or the ones from the old/classic platform (in Flash)?
  15. @Mpx83 Not at the present, but there is a way for you to check if that's the issue. Go to PRT (ProRealTime) and check the moving average with Sunday data removed (I believe it is possible there). Then you can see whether that is the issue or not!
  16. Could be Sundays or it could be the price you're using it from. IG uses close price, others might use open/high/low or give the option to choose. Are you comparing with a platform in particular?
  17. @TrendFollower Not sure if it helps, but recently IG added 2 volume-based indicators to their offering: Volume-Weighted Moving Average and Ease of Movement. Maybe that covers your strategy?
  18. Hey @Bullan. It is indeed available if you're on the full screen chart. You can also edit the preview from the chart on mobile!
  19. Hey @psycho, I think drawings are not per interval. However, you can toggle drawings visibility in the "Show" menu. Does that help?
  20. There is a way to do that should you wish to do that in the web trading platform. You split the chart in 4 and then add the same indicator with different setup. Not exactly what you wanted but that's a workaround to have what you wanted.
