  1. Thanks for your post. This trades on three different exchanges Canadian, OTC and French. None of these can be offered on our non-leveraged account as we're not set up to support them. I can look into adding these to our leveraged account but the market capitalisation may be too small. If you want this on the leveraged account can you let me know which one and I can speak with our shares desk. All the best
  2. Thank you so much for your post, There have been some issues with our demo account. Due to volatility we have to focus on our live account but we do apologise for the inconvenience. I will speak with our technical team to take some time for the demo account. We understand that the demo environment is a place people come to practice trading before they feel comfortable to move to a live account. Apologies again, All the best.
  3. Thanks for your post. This isn't something we can offer due to positions potentially being open. If someone is worried about how much they trade or the losses being made on their account we would advise them to reach out to us though. All the best
  4. If you're using a leveraged account (spread betting or CFD) I would advise making a second account. Then give us a call or email and as us to change the base currency to Euros. If you have a non-leveraged account we offer manual conversion. Which means you can hold different currencies on the account to avoid conversion feeds.
  5. You're correct. If you're placing the trades to give you the free US commissions (These have to be 3 US trades) then place trades in the next month for free these all count towards your quarterly fee meaning you will not have to pay your quarterly fee. All the best.
  6. Thanks for your post. Once you open up gold you should be able to see spot and futures at the top. Once you click one of the two options in the lower red box the june contract ticket will appear in the right. All the best
  7. Thanks for your post. Your shares are held in a segregated client accounts under nominee arrangements with approved custodians. This means that they’re easily identifiable as client assets and, as with cash, IG and its creditors don’t have any charge, liens, or rights of set-off or retention over them. Your shares may be pooled with other clients’ shares, but never with shares owned by IG. https://www.ig.com/uk/client-funds All the best
  8. @shardymo Thanks for your post. You can place orders before the market opens but you have to do it on the order tab: We have had a change in platform. If you want a video to help you around you can find it by clicking the help button at the top of the page. All the best
  9. @kparsons77 thanks for your post. When you're first with us we will have to send funds back to the source you funded with. If this is a card we can send it back very easily. If it's a bank account you have to send proof of your name and details linking to the payment. Once you've been with us for a while as long as we see proof that a bank account or card is in your name we can send funds back their. We also accept paypal. All the best,
  10. Thanks for your post. With our share dealing account you can hold funds in other currencies (this is a manual conversion account rather than instant). The ISA account is not the same, we can't allow funds to be send into other currencies. Sorry about that. All the best.

  13. If you're looking to simply buy some US shares and it's your first purchase the charge is £10 on the open and close. You get the free if you have traded 3 times (US stocks) in the previous calendar month: https://www.ig.com/uk/investments/share-dealing We do also have a quarterly fee of £24. The fee you're refering to is the £12 inactivity fee and that only applied if there are funds on the account and no open positions. If you were holding shares on your share dealing account this fee will not apply to you. All the best
  14. Thanks for your post. UK shares quote in pence in the underlying market which is why we quote them in pence. American exchanges quote in dollars which is why they're reflected that way. All the best
  15. Thanks for your post. With our US stocks the standard fee is £10. If you trade 3 US stocks in the previous month then your US stock trading is free for our non-leveraged account (buying physical stock). https://www.ig.com/uk/investments/share-dealing I hope this helps.
  16. We close the option early which is the expiry in the get info section. You can leave it open until our expiry or you're welcome to close it early at the reflect p/l.

  18. If this is on a non-leveraged account (Share dealing or ISA) you have to make sure that limit (all sessions) option is selected if you want to trade in the pre and post market. If the all sessions order type is not selected it will not work the order in the pre/post market. All the best
