Show Timeline on Shares Platform

Running Windows 10. Even though the timeline is checked to show on every company performance chart I open, I have to click SHOW >Timeline twice to make it appear. (ie Off then On) Also on SHOW >> TimeLine there is a T. Positions P and Orders O. How do I utilise those shortcuts. Thanks in advance.
