Do you enjoy trading? Like a regular job, if you don't like your job you are not likely to stick around for long. On the other hand, if charts make you high, you will continue doing it whether it is worth it or not.

I wonder are we going into a repeat of July 2019 where Dow goes range bound between 27000 and 27300? History repeats itself?

An inverted pinbar may be about to be formed on the 1H chart after bouncing off the 20 EMA. This could be a bearish reversal back to 27000

A triple top formation is formed on Dow 1H chart. It may find support at 20EMA though

Can anything possibly stop this beast?

27000 is a psychological level for the Dow, so I expect to see some resistance at this level, Opportunity for a quick scalp/swing, if you guys are into these kind of things..

yup, so i log out from the auto-fill, and click "Log In to a Trade Account". Delete the Server:MetaQuotes-Demo thing and type IG. There will be a drop down appear, and IG-LIVE is not in the list

Thank you Caseynotes. I believe you are referring to the Desktop trading app, where you download and install metatrader to your PC. The Web trader I am referring to is the Web terminal that runs on Internet browser without any installation required.

I think another possibility is it could start to go range bound around the inverted hammer top and bottom

Hi all, Nice to see something other than "Chart is frozen" and "Help, how can I get my money back!" This is what I think about Spot Gold, I could be wrong though, just offering an alternative view.

As you know, Metatrader 4 supports Desktop Trading, Mobile Trading and Web Trading. I would like to bring to attention that I can't log in to Web Trading for about a month now. I kinda recall that I was previously able to do so. It seems that the server list does not have IG. All of a sudden 25000 looks like a very real possibility again, although admittedly it might not have been possible without China and DT. It seems the stars are aligned.

HK market has clearly brushed aside all that is happening within and moving in tandem with the Dow. The bulls have proven to have the upper hand so far

That is the first death cross (bearish crossover) since July 2018." Hang Seng has fallen heavily this morning despite a stong wall stree last night. It has crossed back down from 20 EMA up to 20 EMA down. If price ends below 26000 on daily chart tonight would be a good short entry

A bearish engulfing pattern appears on Dow daily chart and have bounced off 20EMA.

If price ends the day around 26200 followed by a red candle tomorrow below 26000, this is a pattern known as "doji evening star" and is signal the price may reverse down.

I am not so advanced like Mercury here but I could at least understand half of what he is talking about. Yes it did trigger me to consider the possibility of the bullish trend pushing price to 30000 levels.

Some information for those who have never traded this before and would like to trade this: 1. Morning session - 9:15am-12pm (ig.com's spread is usually around 5 pips) 2. 12pm-1pm - lunch time (spread is 30 pips) 3. Afternoon session - 1pm-430pm (spread is back to 5 pips) 4. 4:30-5:15 (spread is 30 pips) 5. After trading Hours: 5:15pm - 3am (spread is 8 pips) Note the time is Hong Kong time (GMT+8). Also, if you have a long term short position, there is this daily "Adjustment for dividend" that will be deducted every morning, it is like forex swap.
