  1. Also buy and hold strategies guarantees them to be wage slaves as @dmedin refers them to be. Simply cannot afford a comfortable retirement from that kind of returns. You want an example just look at what Mr Nenner looks like. This is the face of a man in denial. The poor chap will see the current correction as once in a lifetime to short to Dow 2000.
  2. I was not referring to long term investors that will take their holdings with them 6 feet under. I was referring to frequent traders.
  3. There are many revenge traders out there mate. Cannot accept the market going against them so they double down and double down. How do I know? I was this idiot before.
  4. I'm not stupid enough to go long unlike many contrarians.
  5. A lot of people are getting REKT.
  6. Dow is like some girls isn't it? Not giving up on the first date. Just get it done with so I can move on.
  7. I'm looking to hit 26400 and GTFO because the rebounce can happen . Cannot wait for a direction that is obvious for every one to see to enter.
  8. Short the Dow today but don't be too greedy.
  9. No, not buy signal. 28400 is my estimation for deciding up or down for the medium term. I day trade so care more about daily direction. As of close tonight, it looks so far away from that level.🤔 Let's see what the overnight reaction has in store for us and hopefully we all make some more money tomorrow.
  10. This rebounce may not be sustainable so holding both long or short positions overnight is risky. I will go by my end of month (Friday) close of Dow 28400, if breached, to determine which way to bet big.
  11. I think shorting today is a good bet. I have a target of ~ Dow 26900-26700. Just checked the Sentiment Index - there are too many longs.
  12. I think it will go sub 27000, maybe test 26800 this week. Tomorrow will tell us more.
  13. Probably a while.... but very short term retracements are likely though. Maybe I am quite right on this one (after two big losses).
  14. Who is still short? I closed my short positions for the day and see what happens tomorrow. Better to be safe than trapped.
  15. We must not get too complacent. Although sub 27000 looks likely, a quick rebounce beforehand by the stop grabbers is always in play.
  16. Volatility trades like the past days will make all of us multi millionaires at some point 😄😄
  17. I definitely did not say that 😆
  18. Some believe OAPs have served their purpose. Lingering around is only a burden to government pension payouts. How convenient this virus helps solve one of society's aging problem.
  19. I thought you needed a safe trading idea 😂😂...so just trying to help out! You were shorting the market yesterday right? How could you gave up some gains??
  20. Increased my short position as of now to 35% allocation. I stand by my "below Dow 28400 end of week close" to signal 27500 region. Could bounce back up a bit before the decline again, hence holding back my funds until market opens. @dmedinI have been very wrong twice already. Does it give you confidence to go long from here and trade against me on this one??
  21. The vast majority are shorting the Indices markets to eternity. So at least that side won't trigger as much margin calls, but the rest...... At least we know Mr Nenner can afford a haircut and new ironed shirt soon. 1984? Blimey. You have lived through many of the peaks and troughs.
  22. I'm getting out for the day and see what happens. Leaving a small short position, but could likely to have a rebounce very short term. Better to keep my firepower at better levels.
  23. @Caseynotes What is your next support if 28165 falls through? If 28400 doesn't hold this week, I have 27700 or less.
  24. I might not be around in 20 years time to reap the benefits. Fogging the mirror is troublesome lately.
  25. Off topic related to Caseynotes previous post. http://www.centerforhealthsecurity.org/event201/videos.html October 2019...is Johnson&Johnson a firm buy?🤔🤔
