  1. Seriously does IG have any technical support? I have called the customer service number 0800 195 3100 at different times of the day and night and listened to hours of musak and repeated messages about one of our team being with me shortly but no one has ever answered the phone so far. Nobody from IG has ever responded to questions on the forums I have raised although thankfully some generous fellow IG users have taken up the IG slack. What a poor state of affairs from IG. I couldn't recommend the platform to anyone else on the basis of my experience to date. Has anyone else found a way to get a response? I have a technical problem with L2 Dealer.
  2. If IG actually have any support staff and they read these forums I would really appreciate some assistance. I held on the support phone line for over an hour until my phone died with no answer and no indication of whether someone was ever going to answer apart from "one of our team will be with you shortly............" Come on support please help!
  3. Hi I have installed L2 Dealer which connects and loads exchanges without any problem, however, no shares appear when searching. Diagnostics show two errors in red, the registry access test and the program file access test, everything else is green. There is also one error appearing in the log file: "2020-03-12 08:33:57,916 [Main UI thread] ERROR L2.Business.ProfileManager - ProfileManager::ReadProfiles - No profiles found". I have uninstalled the whole prerequisite and L2 suite and reinstalled to get to the same position. I am an administrator on the PC and don't know why the registry etc. would be unavailable to the software. Can anyone advise what I can do to fix the errors please?
  4. Thanks Ricky, that’s good to know as the IG website is very unclear on this.
  5. I have recently opened an IG share dealing account with a view to utilising DMA with an ISA, however, reading the small-print it seems a CFD is substituted for the share transaction when using DMA. Presumably this means you cannot use DMA when purchasing shares for an ISA or have I got this wrong somewhere?
