No one at IG seems to have any idea or the slightest explanation for the missing Demo chart info - just an ‘I’m sorry’… surely the IT team knows why the entire platform is blank… anyone any ideas? This also happened last week..:

Ok... the inconsistency of the IG Portal RSI alerts seem to be pointing to only one thing - and that is they are only available when IG allows it? Are they disabled for a particular reason? If IG disables them at particular times could they let us know those time frames. If you have a strategy which uses the RSI as part of it then the whole IG portal becomes useless. What you say fellow traders and what you say IG folk? This has happened multiple times... time for a concrete answer!

Thanks Kodiak I've seen this info before but I'm looking for actual expiry times - no-one in IG seems to know what the times are (ie. what are the cash close times?). I guess I'll have to use the demo account and set and record the expiry times.

Thanks for the response Spook, I've seen that info before I believe its the last time you can purchase an option - I'm looking for the expiry times. One of the IG helpdesk guys also thought that was the expiry time then corrected themselves.

Hi I've chatted a number of people at 'IG' and nobody seems to know when a daily option (for example an Index option) expires. I've had 3 different answers from 3 different people, one saying they simply didn't know? This is a bit concerning as it seems IG are selling options without being able to tell the customer when they expire?? This can't be correct surely? Any thoughts guys? Cheers

Hi anyone using the IG Aus platform able to tell me the exact open/closing times for a Daily candle and do these open/closing times apply to all charts - Obviously markets open and close around the world at different times but was wondering how these are measured in the Aus market? Simply putting when does a daily candle start and finish on the chart? Cheers

Hi Do the RSI Indicator alerts trigger and alert you? So far have not been able to get them to trigger, tried all levels of charts? If you can get them to work please advise me of your set up criteria. Thanks

(Hi I set up multiple 1hr RSI alerts to trigger when a certain level was crossed and nothing worked. Price change alerts are working fine. Any ideas why the RSI alert doesn't work on laptop or iphone? Cheers)

Hi Guys, this morning I noticed (on the demo account) the GBP/USD stop loss changing from a minimum of 4 to 12 pts which makes scalping for a few pips at a time a waste of time and uneconomical. Is IG simply allowed to up the Stop allowed at any time to discourage you from trading or trading a particular point in time? Cheers.
