    I don't have a question - I just thought it would be good to get set up ready, in case we need to ask questions later. Perhaps one question - is it OK for me (age 83) and my son (age 47) to do this together (largely his expertise, plus my money, to start with)? Hope OK.

    I am trying to purchase a US stock, but I get a message saying 'Market not available online'. Why? It is 3.00am in Australia, and the stock market in the US is open and the price is moving, but I can't purchase.
