  1. I had started moving my funds into SAXO (Also have a connection with TV), but now IBKR is on board it's a no brainer. Plus SAXO and IBKR offer more advanced order types that IG unfortunately do not offer in their share-trading platform.
  2. Same issue here, After all the glitches that have been happing recently I've decided to slowly move my portfolio to another broker. There was a glitch today that prevented me from closing my position, took four goes and of course was charged each time. and helpdesk would not acknowledge the fault.. Be careful if the platform only shows limit in the ticket window, if this happens, close the ticket and open a new one (the three order types will then be visible again). Moving to another broker that can offer more advanced order types.
  3. I'm not too fussed about indicators, price and volume is really all I need. A selectable moving average on the volume indicator would be a good inclusion. The charting platform also needs to be more responsive, I'm still having issues where price is not displayed correctly on some stocks. You often need to select another time frame and then revert back to daily chart to trigger the correct price/day. I have provided many videos on this error to IG Support, and it remains an issue across multiple OS and web browsers. The alert selection process could be improved. Something like what Tradingview offers, draw trend line/horizontal line or select MA and right click, select alert type. The biggest thing IG Share trading platform is missing IMO is advanced order types. Many users that swing trade like myself do a lot of their work out of market hours. You determine your entry criteria, choose your stop loss level. Currently a buy stop can only be set when market opens. The ticket window should offer users a buy price/stop loss/take profit. OCO (one cancels the other) orders, trailing stops etc, Reduce only orders, It would certainly make trading other markets much easier. Another improvement would be ticket management, currently users need to clear their stop loss orders before hitting Sell in the positions window to populate your total shares in the ticket window. It would be handy if the sell button could trigger the stop cancelation to make execution quicker and easier. A percentage slider would also make trading easier. Users could slide or select 25%/50%/75%/100% buttons to buy or sell order executions to quickly sell or buy partials. ***picture provided as example*** Please also provide 2FA from Google or Microsoft, security needs to improve.
  4. As the title states, it would be great if the tickers for trades (Share Trading) could be added to the trade history export data (.CSV File). I understand the market column displays the company name, but adding tickers would allow some of the online journalling platforms to auto-import, and or self made excel journalling systems much easier to manage.
  5. I can't believe we can no longer set buy stops on the AU share trading platform out of market hours. (it was available when I first joined) Or for US stocks, would make things so much easier. Currently looking at other brokers as it is seriously limiting what I trade. You should be able to set a trigger buy and stop loss order in the same ticket.
  6. Yes this is very annoying, I've raised this before about the ASX share trading platform and purging of stop orders. I'm interested in hearing a response on this matter.
  7. Would love to see some more advanced order types offered from IG across both the CFD and Share trading platform. The ability to use OCO (One closes the other). Buy stops (after/before market open) Take profit / stop loss. Not being able to open a buy stop until the market opens (ASX Share trading) is just not working for me, I'm sure others must feel the same? We could even trade US/UK stocks far easier. Examples from other brokers -
  8. Two things I would love to see on the IG trading platform are the following - When you choose to see the Open Positions on your chart it would be great if you had the option to choose between $ value or Percentage. I try to minimise any dollar value in my trading and work with percentages this reduces the psychological impacts. The other would be an option to include a divided window within the Positions tab to sort partial and full positions or any other option users may wish.
  9. Yeah I use PRT for some custom screens that I dump into TV. I like PRT, but it's not as light and I need the flexibility to use across multiple platforms, PC, Mac, Phone etc.
  10. Tradingview offers more reliable charting platform and a fairly decent screener (Ability to create your own screens using Pinescript would be great). One thing that the IG platform lacks is the ease in which you can create alerts. TV you can simply draw a line and have an alert trigger when price crosses. -> Draw a line, right click, add alert. or click the small plus symbol near the price scale, add alert. Or select MA, add alert for cross. TV also offers a very flexible system in which users can customise appearance, custom indicators etc etc. TV watch lists that are easy to scroll through, I screen hundreds of stocks in my watch lists each night on TV, In a second if the chart doesn't grab my attention its usually not worth trading, I'm unaware if this quick scrolling acting is something IG currently offers. As soon as TV offers the ability to connect and ASX broker I will certainly consider options and make the switch.
  11. I have never had any platform report trading activity to the ATO, including CommSec. I have always used Sharesight. They import my trading activity and then I generate the required reports needed for the ATO.
  12. Hi Rokas, I have PRT installed on my Macbook Air M1, I don't use it to trade from but the software launches fine on my device. I have also just recently updated the OS to the new Monterey 12.0.1, but it worked on the previous version.
  13. I've been in a few brokers and IG seems to be the only one that purge your stop orders when a company goes into a standard trading halt. I can understand when there's a suspension from quotation as all orders are purged. Is there any particular reason for this action? Can make things tricky when resetting your stops if you're not around your screen.
  14. Anything new to add on this? Would love to see IG integrate with TV charts.
  15. It's the daily PDF, I had IG set it up so that they send a copy to my private email and the sharesight email address for imports.
  16. Apologies for the duplicate post - I trade on the ASX via the IG share trading platform (Not CFDs) and have my daily statements sent via email to Sharesight, this pulls all my trading data and all I have to do come tax time is select generate tax report. Pretty simple.

  18. I've raised this with support multiple times and it still remains an issue. Even had to submit a video of the issue. They reported back there was a lag issue and it was fixed. But it's been happening pretty much every day. I've given up on a fix.
  19. Yeah same, TV pro + member also, But I only trade the ASX with my share trading account through IG, I have not touched the CFD side of things. I really hope all IG clients get some form of broker connection with TV should it ever go live. Either by CFD or Share trading across all markets. Sounds like the race is on between IG and IBKR.
  20. looks like they may have finally fixed it, will check again market open tomorrow.
  21. Yep, this is exactly what has been happening to me. Day 3 now, Have been using the phone/ipad app to get by, but this is getting silly now.
  22. Yes, I did see the -NaN pop up in my working orders tab now that you mention it.
  23. Ok, so they were finally able to replicate the issue on their end. Took a while for them to work out where this issue was, this was even after I tried on 3 different PC's and 3 separate networks. Hopefully it is resolved soon. Strike one for now as this is not good enough.
  24. Hi Everyone, I've been on phone support regarding this but am wondering if others are having the same issue? I can see my current orders (Stops) and Positions, but when I select a stock the chart window displays nothing. I was able to purchase a stock this morning (one that loaded correctly) add my stop, but now have no visibility of the chart or ticket window to edit my stops or buy/sell should I be required. At this stage I have to use my phone.
  25. Any updates on this @CharlotteIG? I'm seeing IBKR is current doing their beta testing. Hope IG have been doing the same.
