I did same for AMC yesterday in spread betting on the buy side during the middle of the day and it would only allow to sell my existing stock ! I wrote to help desk no answer so far..

Everytime there seems to be some real volatility in the market suddenly stocks like AMC become unavaliable to be traded. Missed out on a nice rally from vwap today. Only option to close existing trades. Thanks a lot IG !

I have been watching Cineworld shares this morning. After the big drop, the price fluctuated between 16p and 29p on the charts as you can see in the attached video.
Yet Level 2 was just hovering around 26-29p. Why doesn't the Level 2 show the real movement that the Cineworld chart is showing ?
Who gets to buy the shares at 16p ?
Obviously we can't as it is not avaliable at the ask price on Level 2.
Why is this not avaliable to us on IG ?
