I tried to open a share dealing account with this broker, yet the status has remained that the application is in progress for 2 months. Instead, IG opened a CFD and spreadbetting account - 2 accounts that I never requested to be opened. I tried to call the IG office yesterday but was left waiting on the line for someone to pick up for 2hrs 30mins (of course I gave in at this point) It would be great if IG can one day open a sharedealing account for me (USD denominated) and close the CFD and spreadbetting account.
