    Hi, I'm new to IG and noticed in-between the buy/sell on forex bonds and commodities there is a fixed spread value shown bellow why is this not the case on shares and ETF ?

    I have only traded equity before so was wondering who pays you dividends on spread betting since you aren't actually buying the companies stock ? I was also wondering why there are still exchange rates since your not actually buying anything ? do tax withheld and stamp duty's still apply ?
