    Hello. I'm new and just need some advice please. I'd like to buy some US shares such as Apple. I live in Australia. I have filled in the online for W8 BEN to allow US trading. My wife has bought through Commbank share dealing service and had to use Pershing LLC as a clearing agent and get a CHESS holding, apparently to sort out the tax on the shares so that she is not taxed twice. I have not had to do any of this on here. How will i be taxed, in the US or here, or both? Many thanks
