Funding Calculation

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me how funding is calculated. I saw for one position, I sold 5 size for 42 dollars and kept it for 9 days, the system detecs -39 for funding.
Another transaction, I sold 5 size for profit 40 dollars but funding was +70 dollars.
So if funding is for holding overnight, how come I got +70 dollars.
