Hi, Was just trying to buy some shares in Apple (All sessions) and go the message that the market I had selected was not available online. I'm going to presume that you can only buy when the US comes online, would that be right? Or is there something else wrong. FYI I'm buying through the S&S ISA. Many thanks for any help.

Do you have to pay the charge if you decide to cancel it at a later date?

Hi, When you place a non-market order such as a stop or a limit I can see the transaction charge, usually around £10. If the order doesn't fill or I want to cancel it for any reason I presume you don't pay this charge, ie- you only pay if the order executes. Am I right in thinking this? I'd hate to go making orders and cancelling if I was being charged each time. Thanks for any advice you can offer and Merry Christmas!
