  1. Although covid may be affecting things currently, in normal times, the inward transfer is intended to take no more than 14 days (10 working days) according to IG's website. Within those 14 days I should be able to trade until the day my current provider executes IG's request and stops me trading in it with them. If IG generally make the ISA available the next day or so after my current provider stops me trading then there will only be 1 or 2 working days that the ISA has effectively left one provider but isn't available for trading with IG. Covid aside, or perhaps even since March 2020, does anyone have any experience of how many days they were unable to trade while the ISA was ‘in transit’ like this ? Very grateful for any help.
