I am new to the IG.com platform and it has been a few years since I have been in the market. I am a little confused on how to place an order to purchase some shares at the market price rather than a limit. Have placed two orders already and have paid the price I set at the limit rather than the market as I was under the mistaken impression it would fill the order at the market price rather than my limit price. A bit confused, however when you go to place the order the only type available is "Limit". Any help would be appreciated.
