I note one can tf in a stocks and shares or cash ISA from "another broker". Does this apply to a bank also - I'm looking to tf in cash ISAs with a bank to a new stocks and shares ISA with IG.

Thanks Charlotte. A pain but will do. I assume section 6* (see below) is not intended to prevent me transferring money in/out of the IG accounts and my fathers bank account? Anyone manage an account with Power of Attorney? When IG can cope I want to open a sharedealing/ISA account for my elderly father (I'm already an account holder) . He has granted a general Power of Attorney for me to act on his behalf in all financial matters - willl a copy suffice or does IG insist on obtaining their specific form (available as a download)?
