Hi IG community! I live in Australia and I’m still new in trading and slowly I am learning the ropes and doing swing trades at the moment. I trade US stocks and stay up all night since the time zones are opposite and I am wondering if I can do day trading? I have been looking for a straight answer for my question in this forum for days and the IG support team has not responded yet to my enquiry.
Could somebody please confirm if day trading US stocks in Australia is allowed and my account will not get flagged or restricted? Is there a some sort of knowledge based article in the IG help section that states that day trading is allowed or with conditions? Thanks everyone!
