Example scenario: I own 30 shares of Company XYZ. The price per share of XYZ reaches $1,000,000. I place a sell limit order of 30 shares priced at $1,000,000 each for a total of $30,000,000. If it is during operational hours of the market and there is a buyer, the trade should execute and IG won't limit the transaction? There was a restriction on buying GME and AMC (there shouldn't have been) at one point so curious if the reverse can happen. Thanks in advance.
