Move cash from my stocks a/c into my ISA?

You can do this if the funds have settled. Are you just trying to transfer cash or are you closing positions to then rebuy in the ISA? I recently tried to do the this but was concerned about it taking too long so looked into a Bed & ISA. Unfortunately the Bed & ISA transaction isn't allowed on US markets.
