Protection of IG funds invested on the platform by me

How are the funds invested on the IG platform protected if the company went into administration or insolvency.

Can I continue to access my account on the IG platform if IG has financial issues ?

Are my investment funds treated as client funds and access is maintained by me despite what is happening to IG?
