[Short Selling - Stock Borrowing Restrictions]

Note that my Available is £9890
If I lose because the stock goes up I will only lose £3750 not more than £9890 so how can I be borrowing anything?
If the stock goes down and I buy at the lower price I make £9413.41 - is that right?

Hi, I'm new to Spread Betting and am trying to Short a stock.
However it comes up with the message "This market may not be sold to open due to stock borrowing restrictions in the underlying market.  Please call in if you need an explanation"

It's only on my demo account and the first time I tried to sell short.  Is the problem that IG don't want me to Sell Short on this stock specifically?
