Thanks for trying to help, I think I have the terminal downloaded properly now. but still not getting a positive result here.   can I not use this with demo maybe? and the "server details" I have no idea where that comes into play ... it seems I can connect to the but how do I use demo mt4 with demo ig ?

Does anyone have a recent video tutorial ir can perhaps show a walk through on how to set these up? 

I added metatrader to IG account and got he email and can see the account on my IG but when I go to add the login detail on meta trader I get a "boing" sound and it doesn't link up right now I am trying to do it all on the demo but have a live account too
