Stellantis - what is happening?

Recommended Posts

Hi all -

I've had shares in Fiat Chrysler for the past 6 months, waiting for the merger with PSA to go through. Bloomberg reports a 6% rise on the Paris and Milan exchanges.

However, a search on IG doesn't find Stellantis.

The new company launches on Tuesday (19th) in the NYSE - so do I have to wait until then to see what is happening to my FCAU shares?

There is supposed to be a distribution of $2Bn to FCAU shareholders - does anyone know how that will work through the IG system?

Thanks in advance... from Bloomberg:

So, I contacted IG support.

They said it would be a WEEK before I could access my shares.

WEEK!

Any chance of profit gone, left with the pickings after the market has taken whatever value it wants out of the new company.

Still waiting for feedback from 'the enterprise team', whoever they are.

FT has my holding up by 28.6% in shares, plus whatever premium the market adds (currently around 7%).

Unacceptable.
