who's name is on a Company Share Register

Hi,

I' hold a large holding of a UK share on AIM.  There is a very strong possibility that the company will sell off a non core section of their company and re distribute the profit to share holders.

My problem is that my name needs to be on share company's investors list and i have been told that IG do not put individual investor's names on each company share holder list - which means i will not benefit from this payout.

I have contacted IG today, via chat and the lady was going to ask the dealing desk and they email me back - but nothing has arrived yet!  And i really want this sorted by tomoz morning so to give me time to think of something.

Does anyone have any experience of this with IG or any advice.

Much appreciated in advance.

If you haven't received a response from IG, follow up with them immediately. Sometimes a prompt follow-up can expedite the process. Specifically ask if they can register your shares in your name or if they can provide a workaround to ensure you're on the shareholder list. If IG cannot accommodate your request, consider transferring your shares to another broker who can register them in your name. Ensure the new broker can complete the transfer and registration before the deadline.

    • I've been exploring the world of play-to-earn gaming recently, looking for something that's not just about endless grinding but actually offers a fun and rewarding experience. OGC really stood out to me because it combines gaming with a sense of community in a unique way. OGC isn't just a game; it's a platform where you can play, earn, and even help shape its future. You're not just a player; you're part of a community with a voice. The idea of earning crypto while playing games is exciting, but what makes OGC special is its focus on community involvement. Your feedback can directly influence the development of the game, which is a big deal. I've also heard that the OGC token is available for pre-market trading on Bitget. While I'm still getting to know the platform and its features, it's definitely something to keep an eye on. Has anyone else tried OGC? What has your experience been like? I'd love to hear your thoughts and any tips you might have.
