Selling GME shares

I know, for a few weeks from the end of January, IG inexplicably  blocked the buying of GME shares and at exactly the same time the forum was down so no one could discuss this, but can IG confirm they will not prohibit the sale of GME shares when the time comes despite there being potentially huge activity with this stock at that time.
