I need to withdraw funds in GBP to a GBP bank account after the sale of stocks in mostly UK listed entities. I have set the currency conversion to manual but the site is still insisting that funds be converted to euro before being withdrawn, following which they would be converted to GBP again by the bank upon receipt, thus incurring two sets of charges that are unnecessary. How do I avoid this? Some assistance from IG would be appreciated, but emails and call are going unanswered.
