Stop on open orders

Hi,

I have set a stop level at 3900 on a open position on natural gas and it is now trading at 3915 but the order has not been closed. Isn't the purpose of the stop to close the position? 

My PnL on that position when from positive to negative and I set this stop to avoid losing money on that position

I can see the position has been closed at your requested stop level of 3900. In some cases there is lag between the time the stop is triggered and when it is filled on the platform. Hope you have a great day further.
