Guaranteed stop loss minimum 2% after hours on Top40

I understand the larger spread on the SA Top40 after hours but how can 2% distance on guaranteed stops be the minimum? It makes trading somewhat ooff hours impossible without overexposing yourself. Indeed this a feature of a limited risk account but 'limiting' your risk by forcing huge exposure for small trades seems counter-intuitive if you ask me. 2% is crazy! I literally made a trade with a 60 point min gstop and 30 spread, all good.. then right after 17.00 the min goes to 2% and thus not tradable?
