Strange change to minimum stop loss

I am new to using IG platform and I had been trading with a system generated minimum stop loss of about 8 pts last week on the EUR/USD. I tried to place a trade late on Fri night and suddenly the minimum stop loss jumped to 124, making it impossible for me to trade. Any idea why that happened and how to get it fixed?

Hi @Nellie During periods of increased or expected market volatility, we may increase the minimum stop distance as compared to the initial stop distance. This can also be during out of hours. In such situations clients will have to adhere to the new stop distance when amending their positions. All the best, OfentseIG
