Minimum position size increase

Recommended Posts

Hello

Apologies if this question has been asked before (I couldn't find it).

I noticed yesterday that the minimum position size increased for me, to £1/point for most of the Forex Currency Pairs. I have been trading with IG for about a month now, and I have traded with a position size as low as £0.23/point. My funds are going to be too small most of the time, to be trading at £1 per point if I am betting 1% of my account per trade, and I don't want to be risking more than that, while I'm still learning.

Is there a reason for the minimum position size increase? Is this due to market conditions, and therefore temporary, or will I now need to trade at £1 per point?

Thanks

Ian

    • Basically, they've renamed the BitKeep wallet to BitgetWallet while megaswap to Bitgetswap😑...!   Most of the wallets have that inbuilt swap features but only a few reputable centralised exchanges have that feature!
    • Almost perfectly said! Especially, diversification & risk appetite factor worked great for me! Imagine, having -300% with 20x Lev😑. Still didn't close that trade after gaining+200%! Tho high lev isn't recommended, but I've just shared my personal experience as an example of risk appetite!  End of the day, experience & self confidence matters at crypto(For most of the people).
