On a standard trading account, is it possible for trades to be closed out for anything other than a equity drop below 50% of the margin requirement?

Could trades be closed out as a consequence of having long periods on margin call?

Thanks for reaching out to us. Just wanted to let you know that positions can also be closed if the contract expires and rollovers weren't enabled. For retail accounts in the UK, a margin call will be triggered to close your position if your equity drops below 50% of your margin requirement.
