Login problems python tradingbot via API

Hello IG Forum,

some time ago I opened an IG_Account and activated it.

Currently I am trying to write a trading bot to log in via Python_API, and the trading bot should buy and sell CFD on the DAX40 in Germany.

Logging in and creating an API_Key on the demo account is no problem.

Since I didn't know how to create an API_Key at the beginning, I had to test it several times. I generate an API_Key and give it a name and password.

From Trading IG, I got a link where I can test username, password, and API_Key, and it always says access not possible.

Then I found this forum, and hope that I can get help here.
