Margins for normal vs guaranteed stop

Hi,

I have some forex on guaranteed stops and when I try to change them to normal stops, the margins requirements instead show “amount returned”. Is that correct or would changing from guaranteed stops to normal stops close my positions?

Dear @Shirokawa,

Thank you for your post.

Please note that the guaranteed stop margin includes the risk premium, when you are changing to a normal stop your margin will no longer include this.

Changing from a guaranteed to a normal stop should not close your position.
