I start this thread  because I would like to see set ups , when it is appropraite to buy daily options on German 30

If  you wish to post   set up with images  ,and entry points ,please do so .I am looking for quality set ups

Dax daily options can be profitable  , if trader selects two or three very high probability enties , to buy otions .The main conditions are , the dax must be either very weak or strong  , other indices must be aligned.

Dax daily options are difficult to make money from , because the dax is very volatile , unless  the  trader runs his profits  , when hi picks a nice trade. If trader buys a option at x price  , price might move to x  +50    or x  -100  , sometimes maling these options worthless and unprofitable.

Today was a good example , but I had many   weekly positions  running , so I did not go for them.

Daily options are great , if price is about to breakout , and one can trade the breakout failure with options, followed by a final trending trade

The price broke below 10,000  , 10,000  is a very major resistance (and s a nd p is top of channel  overbought).

find it difficult  to make money from daily options , because they expire  and not enough time for trade to materialize

    • Does anybody know the BIL (SPDR Bloomberg 1-3 Month T-Bill ETF) equivalent with a GBP currency hedge? I want the interest yield but I don't want the currency risk.
    • Capital, win loss ratio. If you have a trading edge and you can consistently win 50% of your trades, so your winning 5 trades out of 10. So if your risking 1% of your capital per trade, out of your 10 trades 5 would be losers, so that’s 5% loss and realistically out of the 5 winning trades, some would make small profits, some break even and 1, 2 or 3 could run nicely IF you can let your profits run, basically your making money out of 2 trades out of the 10 trades (80/20 Rule Pareto principle) So a $20,000 acct risking 1% is $200 per trade, this will keep the trader with his trade risk based on being able to win 50% of his trades. A long term trend trader can win with 30% wining trade. Basically you need to know your numbers. Rgds Pete
