Live accounts - How easy is it to get one?

Hey IG community. :) After a bit of experimenting with the platform in the DEMO account mode, I decided to check what would be required of me to make a live account.  During the process I have seen that in step four which covers financial details, it flashes a warning if you input anything under £25,000 for savings or annual income. As a relatively new trader I do not plan on opening a live account just yet, but it seems that anyone without more funds would be able to do so anyway. Has anyone had any experience with opening an account with less funds successfully? or if the requirements are not met are there any workarounds?
