The alerts on the platform just give a one second beep - this is not long enough.

 

I away from the screen, the beep is easily missed.

 

The sound needs to be user adjustable eg. 1second / 10 sec / 30sec / 1min / 3min / 5min / 10min / continuous until user turns it off.

 

Also, a selection of different alert sounds and maybe self select a sound file from your PC.

Welcome to the community! Thanks for sharing the idea. I can see the point you make as I can appreciate being able to customise alerts could add value as to those that are trying to monitor many markets or those that are not always going to be at their desk to trade. With that in mind I will be sure to pass on the point you have made to the charts and alerts team.

For those of us taking longer positions and who have other jobs that mean we can't be watching screens all the time it would be very handy to have an email alert function.
