See actual ETF holdings

Recommended Posts

IG has this tool  with a factsheet PDF that shows what the ETF is actually holding (the names of the companies in which it has stock) which is very helpful to me when deciding what to buy.

Is there a way faster way to see that info except switching between the ETF screener and the trading platform and manually searching for names?

In the actual trading platform I found for example this etf (the tool has a "Market Data" link to this page) but when I try to look for it in the ETF screener I find three entries which don't quite have the same name (see screenshots).

How can I make sure I actually see the info for the exact ETF I'm about to buy?

    • The most important words to pay attention here are "may miss". Which makes me think we might end up closing up again and recover  this early loss on US indices.  Placed a small bet going long. Let's see the open reaction.
    • not really a very hard look at the setup and the entry, what was good, what was bad and what to consider going forward. Did you stick to your rules for entry, do you have any rules, what actually went wrong if anything?
    • Have you started your short? You sound tempted late last week.
