Not a great start, 502 error response when testing V3 oAuth session via API companion

Spelling mistake
So I set a username and password in my settings and do a test V3 oAuth session call using the API companion and get this response back:
HTTP 502
status: errorcache-control: no-cache, no-store
content-length: 75
content-type: application/json
{ "errorCode": "service.security.backend.system.failure" }The 502 error code is not documented in the API docs and is pretty meaningless to the API consumer. I suspect it's a verification issue with the data being posted but I've no idea why as the details are correct, any ideas anyone?
