" I'm in Australia and there really aren't any decent trading platforms that offer Options trades."   Fully support this - after hunting around internet for past few days trying to find a decent Online Options broker  in Australia.    Real opportunity to be explored here.
And agree with comments too about doing vertical spread that reduce the risk and the margin in one go.

Anda - it would be a major plus if IG does give this serious thought.
I would suggest it could be a significant strategic advantage over others out there.
Instead of having to through all of the hassles of going to another major US broker etc to do these.
Making IG the "One stop shopping".
