NYSE stocks in CFD demo account

I want to practice trading CFDs on US stocks while I wait for account approval, but right now I seem to only be able to trade stocks on NASDAQ, and NYSE stocks don't even appear on searches on the web platform. The same is true on PRT. Interestingly though, NYSE stocks do come up on the app, and I seem to be able to trade them on that which is ok, but less than ideal. Does anybody know a) why this is happening and b) if there is something that I can do to get around this problem?
