[Impossible to use stop losses on IG]

I don't know why some of IG's charts show those ridiculous wicks - extreme ones like the two in your screen grab are not real, ie those prices were never available during the time periods of those candles.   Looking at Lloyds in my own IG screen I get the same dodgy wicks for a 'last traded' price chart, but changing to the other 3 price options; 'ask', 'bid', mid', the long wicks are correctly absent.  The long wicks are annoying because they mess up the auto scaling of the charts and make some unreadable.  Try charting one of the other 3 price options instead.

Here are the daily price ranges reported by Sharepad.  The low has not been below 48p in November.

Can someone who has recently gained access to DMA advise how it was done?  The IG Help info is lacking a full walk through of the steps to get the access to L2 Dealer & DMA.
