Did IG dematerialise your shares for you?

You can sell them OTC no problem and in the future it's likely to be electronically trade again - it's a very valuable asset. Hang in there.

[Evraz Shareholders - Dematerialisation IG Error]

I requested IG dematerialise my Evraz shares and they did not. Subsequently they told me they would be able to hold my shares anyway which I believed not to be true.

Finally they wrote recently offering a paltry amount in compensation for the shares informing me they could not hold them. 

Evraz shares (if dematerialised) can be traded OTC now or in the future and they are a valuable asset. 

If you are in the same boat then a lawyer will take group action on our behalf - I just need to find enough other people in the same situation!

[Evraz Shares]

You can sell your shares OTC since Evraz was dematerialised. Unfortunately IG didn't dematerialise my shares as requested and has lied to me in communication - saying they can still hold my shares even though that's not possible. Then recently they told me that they can't hold my shares (which I'd already said to them) and offered me a paltry amount as compensation. I've asked for the full value of my investment to be returned since they were entrusted with my money and didn't dematerialise my shares. They have refused.

I spoke to a lawyer who will launch a group action claim if I can get other holders of Evraz in the same situation to join me. So if you're in the same situation (or anyone else) please let me know ***********@mac.com

[Can you actually open a SIPP account with IG?]

Can someone at IG reply - I am having the same issue I.e. I want to open a SIPP but I’m getting the same message as @SammyM
