    Am I able to short a share on an investment account or is that only available on CFD trading accounts?

    I want to open a trading account with IG to trade shares, however because of the high commission fee on Share CFD's, I want to open an investment account instead. If I do so, will i still be able to get margin? and will I be able to purchase live price data too (level 2)?
