Huge spikes not on any other broker.

why is there a huge spike down on SHELL !! 

 

Did anyone else get this or is it just me!?  It's not on my other 3 share brokers accounts !!!

Thanks for your post. 

Sometimes we get quotes that cause spikes. If no one traded there we don't execute deals off that price. 

If it was a quote but no execution and it makes an anomaly spike our technical team will remove it on the platform shortly after it's happened.

What happen if that spike, not seen in any other broker, cost you a stop triggering? and making a loss?

Many other markets show such kind of spikes, what happen if that spike, not seen in any other broker, cost you a stop triggering? and making a loss?

If the spike is incorrect it will not trigger your stops/ limits.

If for any reason the spike does (which is extremely rare), IG would be able to see this and would reinstate the position.
