Company Acquisition and effect on CFD

Guest Daithi

Question

Hello,

I've been searching quite a bit on this topic and there's not much info out there.

How is a CFD affected when that company is bought out? I presume there's a few factors depending on the specifics of the acquisition but is there ways of protecting yourself eg: stop losses etc if the company that gets bought ceases to trade and is swallowed up in the buyout. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    • I've got much work to do on my pfs taking advantage of the present market conditions to add tokens like ADA but for others that you mentioned just needed some top ups.
    • I could see a possibility of a positive price trend. I'm planning a DCA for $CATE already in prep for the bull run
    • Memecoin history wouldn’t be complete without mentioning DOGE and it’s expansion that has culminated in the introduction of several memecoins that we know today. If there are still opportunities to be tapped in the saturated meme space, many would expect DOGE's sister, NEIRO to continue in the former’s legacy. Owned by the same woman that once adopted Kabosu (the dog behind DOGE), NEIRO has a strong commitment to charity.  NEIRO already captured the attention of Ethereum (its network) co- founder, Vitalik Buterin who confirmed his donation to an animal welfare fund in line with NEIRO mission. With NEIRO enjoying similar admiration and attention as her brother DOGE and now available on Bitget, the stage looks set for its growth.
