SPAC Units Split

Hello,

I have some questions about buying SPAC units and splitting them into common shares and warrants on IG.

• How do I split the units, do I ring or will I be notified?
• How much does it cost to split units into commons and warrants?
• I have a share dealing account, will the warrants and commons be separated and show up on my account as such?
• How long does this process take?

Very interested in an answer to this question. It will decide whether I keep using ig or go hunting for another platform.

Apparently they don't offer it, due to heavy workload. I'll be looking for another broker. The client service is really questionable. It's hard to get an answer at all and the quality of it, is not worth waiting for. As if they do us a favour, that we can be their client.

Hi

I had the  similar issue IG don't provide this service anymore they have stop this service without warning and now I am stuck with the spac unit I have bought. Their customer service is not up to standard and not helpful at all, definitely moving another platform for your information Trade station is the best for spac I was able to split the unit in 30sec.
