Cannot close an order

I am on my demo account. I had a limit and stop loss all set as normal. it has gone way over the limit and didn't close. when i try to close it i get "unable to process, contingent order in process. Another order may be in the process of being filled on this same position

Can anyone help me?

I've got the same issue, the position cannot be adjusted or closed, either via Web, API Companion (where it returns code 200) or REST API. Seems to be a glitch in Demo environment.

I think it can be just a bug of demo account

Thanks for reaching out. Normally on a live account, this is when our team has already received a partial fill for your positions and the order still working in the market to get a full fill. Since this is on a demo account, we would need to reset the account. If you are comfortable with resetting your account, please send an email to helpdesk.uk@ig.com
