Polymetal shares redomicilation and listing on AIX

Hi 

Can someone please explain what does it mean for the ordinary shareholders, once Polymetal shares are delisted from LSE and moved to Asthana Exchange. Will the shares be automatically liquidated? Does IG.com support shares listed on AIX?

In addition to the original question, if the shares are held in a stocks and shares ISA, will those shares remain in the S&S ISA?

Another question resulting from the original question is: Can I request IG to issue a paper certificate in my name confirming my ownership of the Polymetal shares I currently hold in my IG ISA?

Hi @nitingoel @Lexim,

Regrettably, our brokerage does not facilitate the trading of stocks from the KAZ/AIX stock exchange.
If you still intend to trade these shares, we kindly recommend that you find a broker who offers services specifically for the Kaz stock exchange. You can then request a transfer of these shares to the new broker.

Furthermore, if the shares are held in ISA accounts, they will lose their ISA eligibility according to regulations. Therefore, they must be transferred to a non-ISA account.
However, you will have to transfer the stock out in order to be able to trade the stock as it is currently restricted by our broker.

@BarryP01,

Regrettably, we do not provide physical certificates to confirm your stock holdings since all the shares held with us are dematerialized. 
However, we can provide you with a Holding statement that serves as an alternative to confirm your stock holdings under your Share Dealing or ISA accounts.

Update - I am trying to transfer the existing Polymetal shares with IG.com to Wood & Co. Has anyone tried this or are in the process? You will need a bank account with bank in EU or Revolut bank app. The form for requesting transfer is on https://polymetal.wood.com/form/individuals
